RSA swimmers participated in the 2009 RSA Summer Sizzle Meet last Saturday, June 27th and last Sunday, June 28th. Preparing for the upcoming holiday weekend, RSA swimmers patriotically cooked up a roast of buzz-worthy swims including several best times, Top 10 times and the addition of one more RSA Team Record!

The June Distance Day, held at TAC on Sunday, July 21st, gave RSA swimmers a chance to either swim events in which they typically don't swim, maybe aren't usually offered, they haven't swam before or another opportunity in one of their longer events. RSA swimmers succeeded with over 75% of swimmers trying a new event for the first time, over 65% of swimmers getting best times in All of their events - plus 2 new RSA Team Records! ...

The RSA Coaching Staff has announced its RSA Swimmers Of The Month for the month of May. These athletes will receive recognition by receiving a Swimmer Of The Month certificate and a RSA Swimmer Of The Month swim cap!

Participating against tough competition, RSA used an array of tools during the 2009 NC Wave Capital City Invitational, at the Traingle Aquatics Center, Friday, June 12th through Sunday, June 14th. This TEAM effort concluded with 61 swimmers scoring, 16 event winners, a New RSA Team Record and over 2,800 points during the 3 day competition!

Raleigh Racer swimmer, and current RSA swimmer, 14-year old Ryan Tyndall ‘Raced’ very well during the Special Olympics North Carolina Summer Games that took place on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th at the Triangle Aquatics Center.
