RSA had an outstanding weekend at the Reindeer Meet on December 2nd-4th! RSA had countless individual events winners on both the Senior and Age Group side of the meet. Records were broken throughout the weekend (old ones in fact!), swimmers earned 100% best times and a total of 184 RSA Swimmers swam to at least one personal best time at Reindeer!

RSA had their annual Kick-Off Meet on Friday November 11th-Sunday November 13th. It was an excellent weekend that consisted of many first time swims for the age group swimmers and it was the Senior's first meet of the short course season! RSA had 81 swimmers who participated in RSA's Distance Day on Sunday October 30th. The events ranged from 200's of stroke up through the mile (1650Free)! Many lifetime bests and first time swims in the longer events made the meet an exciting one. RSA had the first meet of the 2011-2012 season on Saturday October 15th- Outbreak! Fast times “infected” all swimmers in the water! RSA had 83 swimmers who earned100% bests, 79 swam to at least one personal bests, and RSA spirit was contagious throughout the pool deck. The RSA Senior Swimmers ran the swim meet by helping time, kid pushing and giving positive feedback to all those who swam. Proceeds from Outbreak are donated to the Jimmy V Foundation and to the Senior group. Keep up the hard work and fast times RSA!!

Fourteen of the Senior Swimmers traveled to High Point for the “West” Tar Heel States on Friday July 29th-Sunday July 31st! Despite the heat at the outdoor meet, it was a great experience for all! RSA had three event winners, 13 who swam to at least one personal best time and many who came back to swim at finals. Excellent job to those who traveled and participated in the meet!

RSA’s 14&Unders competed at the Tar Heel State Championships on Friday July 29th-Sunday July 31st at Chapel Hill! RSA had 2 event winner for the 10&Unders, 7 swimmers with 100% best times and 21 swimmers who scored throughout the entire weekend!

RSA competed at the 14&Under Age Group Championships in Charlotte on Thursday July 14-Sunday July 17th! RSA scored 2,480 points throughout the course of the weekend and finished in 2nd overall! There were 3 high point winners, 18 RSA records broken, and 24 state champions at the 2011 AGS Championships! Congratulations RSA!

RSA hosted an intrasquad qualifier meet on July 7th & July 9th. Thursday’s attendees raced in short course yards while Saturday was another chance to swim long course. Teammates gathered together to cheer as swimmers raced to new JO cuts and lifetime bests! RSA had 17 swimmers who qualified for JO’s in new events, 16 swimmers who earned 100% best times and 29 swimmers with at least one personal best!
