Thursday's Results:

The first event yesterday evening saw Sarah Henry take the women's 800 free title.  It was pretty neat to see her start from the water and flip with one foot and surge to the front near the end.  Jessie Godlewski finished 4th in a LTB (lifetime best) swim of 9:17 and Tessa Pena landed a 15th-place finish with a LTB of 9:35 (an 18 second drop).  The men's 800 saw LTB's from Matthew Newland and Henry Roach - Matthew dropped 25 seconds!

Women's 800 free relays finished 1st (Hannah Caron, Sarah Henry, Jessie Godlewski, Henriette Stenkvist - new meet record) and 12th (I think - results are not posted) - the B relay consisted of Torrey Bussey, Claire Nobles, Marisa Martinez and Kristyn Repke.

 

The men's results are harder to guess, but the A relay of Andrew Henry, Dylan Kab, Mitch Deforest,  and Michael Williams droped 16 seconds from their seed time, buoyed by outstanding performances from Andrew (lead-off 200free LTB 1:58), Dylan (1:57split), Mitch (2:02 split - his LTB is 2:06), and Michael (2:00- LTB is 2:06 flat start though he has thrown down some faster relay swims).  The men's B of Tucker Dupree, Jose Chavez, Matthew Newland and Logan Harrison also bested their seed time.
