RSA's 14 &under athletes performed well and had some fantastic swims at the NCS Junior Olympic meet in Charlotte this weekend.
The first evening saw 80% best times from RSA athletes. Henriette Stenkvist led the way with a victory at 9:17.93 in the 800 free, bettering her own team record by over 7 seconds. Jessie Godlewski placed 6th.
Friday afternoon saw the first scoring session for the 12&under athletes. Tad Spence started off the scoring for RSA with a 12th-place finish in the 50 free. Thomas Bell added a 5th-place finish in the 50free and a 3rd-place finish in the 100 fly. Olivia Hair rounded out the individual scoring for the afternoon session with a 7th-place finish in the 50 breaststroke. RSA's 400 free relays finished 13th (11-12 girls) and 11th (11-12 boys).
The great swimming continued throughout with the weekend with records falling and dozens of top-16 finishes! Congratulations to all of the swimmers!!
