Henriette Stenkvist Breaks Swedish National Record in 200 Meter Backstroke!

On the final night of the 2010 Austin Grand Prix, Henriette Stenkvist defeated several world class athletes including Katie Hoff and current American Record Holder Margaret Hoelzer to win the 200 Meter Backstroke. RSA Swimmers Experience Success At Summer League Invitationals!

RSA is very proud to have local swimmers represent them so well at recent summer league invitationals. Local summer league teams, with RSA swimmers, either participated at the Greater Raleigh Championship Invitational Meet at TAC or the Southern Wake Invitational Meet (SWIM) at Sunset Ridge on Sunday, July 12^th and/or the Cary City Invitational Meet on Saturday, July 18^th at Cary Swim Club. “Read more” for more information about how they fared.

Nothing Different At Qualifier!

RSA swimmers got their first chance this Long Course season to see the different and improved Optimist Park Pool. Even though outside of the pool was slightly different, there was nothing unusual about RSA's 13 New JO Cuts, 29 New Top 10 Times and Quite the collection of athletes earning Best Times or 100% Best Times!

RSA Celebrates Another Successful Weekend!

RSA swimmers participated in the 2009 RSA Summer Sizzle Meet last Saturday, June 27^th and last Sunday, June 28^th. Preparing for the upcoming holiday weekend, RSA swimmers patriotically cooked up a roast of buzz-worthy swims including several best times, Top 10 times and the addition of one more RSA Team Record!

RSA's June Distance Day Meets Its Objective!

The June Distance Day, held at TAC on Sunday, July 21st, gave RSA swimmers a chance to either swim events in which they typically don't swim, maybe aren't usually offered, they haven't swam before or another opportunity in one of their longer events. RSA swimmers succeeded with over 75% of swimmers trying a new event for the first time, over 65% of swimmers getting best times in All of their events - plus 2 new RSA Team Records!

RSA IN MAY is a pre-summer stroke clinic and a swim camp for summer league and potential summer league swimmers. All four competitive strokes, starts, and turns will be taught by our certified RSA Coaching Staff. The swim clinic will be held at the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC) in Cary.
