Participating against tough competition, RSA used an array of tools during the 2009 NC Wave Capital City Invitational, at the Traingle Aquatics Center, Friday, June 12th through Sunday, June 14th. This TEAM effort concluded with 61 swimmers scoring, 16 event winners, a New RSA Team Record and over 2,800 points during the 3 day competition!

Raleigh Racer swimmer, and current RSA swimmer, 14-year old Ryan Tyndall ‘Raced’ very well during the Special Olympics North Carolina Summer Games that took place on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th at the Triangle Aquatics Center. This is Ryan’s 8th year swimming for RSA and we are truly proud of his accomplishments with the Raleigh Racers this past season!

34 Athletes attended the 2009 North Carolina Open Water (Lake) Championship in West End, NC on Saturday, May 30th! RSA came away with a Huge Improvement over last year’s 6th place finish; by finishing 4th place overall, only a few points away from 3rd place! Scoring 160 more points last year with 9 more swimmers scoring those points!
