Goodstuff Meet Cancelled The RSA Goodstuff Meet has been cancelled. Anyone who was planning on attending or volunteering now has a free weekend. SWIM- A-THON 2003 The 2003 Swim-A-Thon will take place the week of May 12th. This will be held both at Candler and Pullen, depending on your practices. Please begin to start getting pledges from people. We need 100% participation from everyone to make this a great event. As you all know the we will be doing our swim-a-thon during the week of May 12th. This is our last week swimming at Candler. Here are some things to remember about the swim-a-thon
Dates & Times for each of the Practice Groups
Goals for the Summer: Technique for the Week To RSA Swimmers and parents: I think it is important for our swimmers to start setting some short term goals for themselves. This is mainly for the Dolphin group, but all groups are encouraged and welcome to participate. Last week in practice I talked with the Dolphin group about setting short term goals for the summer. I think that 3 different goals would be sufficient. You can have 3 different types goals: (1) a goal for RSA and long course meets; (2) what you want to do in practice (things you need to work on); (3) If you will be participating in a summer TSA league one of your goals there would be sufficient, but only one of your three. So what I would like for you to do is write down your three goals for the summer. Please make them realistic. Turn them in to coach Brian at practice by Wednesday, May 28th. Setting some goals may help the swimmers focus a little bit more on things they would like to strive for in their swimming. I will be talking to them more about this in practice. If you have any questions feel free to email me or give me a call. Thanks, Coach Brian Scratch Deadlines for Liberty & Capital City Approaching Fast Please note that the scratch deadline for the Liberty Meet and Capital City Meet are on Thursday, May 15th. If you have not emailed caoch Brian to let him know you will not be swimming then you will be entered in the meet. The Liberty Meet are for all Novas, Wahoos, and Dolphins swimmers with BB and below times. The Capital City Meet is for all Dolphin swimmers with "A" and above times (You must have at least 2 A times to swim in this meet.)
