Summer Swimming- Tuesday Night at the Races

Every RSA member who participates, officiates, coaches or attends a Tuesday night meet has a great opportunity to spread the word about the benefits of RSA and year round swimming. Our coaches will make the rounds at many meets and do a series of clinics at the different clubs, but we can’t be everywhere. These Tuesday night meets are a great way for all members get involved in building our program.

USA Swimming has a Code of Conduct in place and a paraphrased version of Article 304.3.13 states that no coach, owner, officer, volunteer, representative, or employee of a USA club may not recruit or encourage a swimmer of an existing USA club to become part of the acting parties affiliated club. Basically we cannot talk to another USA swimmer nor can anyone talk to RSA swimmers about being on a different team. If you suspect another area coach has had improper contact with one of our swimmers you need to notify a RSA coach immediately. This could include verbal and/or printed information about another club.

Coach Brian and Coach Dan have come up with what we think is a great brochure about all the opportunities RSA has to offer. If you would like some to pass out at summer practices or at meets, please give Brian a call at 859-4881 or drop him an email bgill@swimrsa.org and he will set you up!

So have a blast tonight and every Tuesday night! Be a good sport, make to new friends, and spread the word about RSA, the triangle program on the move!

Good Luck And Have Fun!

LONG COURSE

We had some very outstanding performances at the first long course meet of the season. This was by far our best swim meet of the year. I was so excited. Many of you still have a great chance of making it to JO's. Please continue to come to practice.
I am proud of you all!
