PRACTICE SCHEDULE CHANGES FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 8th Monday, December 8th There is NO PRACTICE for ALL NOVAS and WAHOOS on Monday, Dec. 8th. due to our Reindeer Swim Meet this past weekend. Take a day off from practice and rest. Fall States Dolphins have practice today from 5:30-6:30 PM at Candler. If you are a Dolphin and went to Reindeer there is NO Practice. Friday December 12th NO PRACTICE for ALL DOLPHIN swimmers attending the Fall States Meet Saturday, December 13th Novas & Wahoos (10:30-11:30 AM) @ Candler Dolphins (10:30-noon) @ Candler FOOD LION REINDEER INVITATIONAL A Success The Reindeer Meet this past weekend was a complete success. The RSA Coaching Staff would like to thank the following: Thank you to Food Lion our sponsor. They donated food for hospitality and some great looking banners at the meet. Thank you goes out to the following parents for all of their hard work on this meet: Meet Directors Elizabeth Schmedding and Melissa Gulyes, our new Executive Director Deanna Burkhardt, Rhonda Newton for all of her long hours on the meet entries, Lindsay Facchine and Cori Strickland for all of their work to make hospitality great for the meet. Thank you to all of the officials that helped run a smooth swim meet, especially Betty Gardner and Wayne Shulby. Finally thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help RSA run a great meet. Meet results will be posted on the website along with a write up on the meet in next weeks newsletter. FALL STATES MEET THIS WEEKEND at PULLEN The North Carolina Fall States Meet is this weekend, December 12-14 at Pullen Aquatic Center: Warm Up Times Friday, December 12th- All 12 & Under Swimmers 3:30-4:30 PM Meet starts at 4:45 PM Saturday and Sunday December 13-14 10 & Under swimmers- 8:00-8:45; Meet starts at 9 AM 11-12 swimmers- Begins immediately after last 10 & Under event, but not before 1:00 Meet will start an hour after Meet entries for the meet are posted on the website for the swim meet. Please be sure to check that they are correct. Since this is a championship meet it will be difficult to add or change entries! The entries have been posted for over a week now. The following Dolphin swimmers are swimming the 200 IM on Friday evening: Sawyer Dove and Caitlin Kelly. This should be an exciting meet for all of our swimmers. Coach Brian is looking forward to it. Let's go out and swim fast and have fun. All Dolphin swimmers in Fall States will NOT have practice on Friday, December 12th. Click Here! for Fall States Meet Entries RSA Christmas Party Set for December 17th The annual RSA Christmas Part is set for Wednesday, December 17th for all Minnow, Nova, Wahoo, Dolphin and Junior swimmers. Please mark this date on your calendar, because it should be a good time for everyone to celebrate the holidays as a team. Time - 5:00 to 6:30 pm

to worry about boy/girl stuff that much.
TECHNIQUE FOR THE WEEK Excellent job to all swimmers who went to Reindeer Meet. Many of you had some really break through swims! Since we do not have a meet until the January Jubilee we will really be getting back to a lot of Stroke Technique Work. Good listening and concentration in practice for the next few weeks can really help everyone's swimming. Fall States swimmers this week will focus on starts, turns, finishes, and relay starts. All fall states swimmers need to stay healthy, get rested and drink plenty of fluids so you are ready to rock n' roll at the meet. I am really looking forward to some good swims this weekend. I am planning on doing some video taping of all swimmers once again over the Christmas break. There will be a sign-up sheet and more information on video taping in next week's newsletter.
