Congratulations to Coach Dan and the 13-14 Girls 200 yard Free relay! The relay of Teresa Long, Blair Cross, Julie Smith, and Brittany Copeland broke a NATIONAL AGE GROUP RECORD by over 3 seconds. What an outstanding accomplishment!!!!!

B/C States RELAYS
Coach Brian is working on Relays for B/C States. Please let me know if you cannot participate in relays. You will be considered available for relays unless you let coach Brian know. Many swimmers can be upset if you were slated to be in a relay do not show up. IT IS LETTING YOUR TEAM DOWN!

TECHNIQUE FOR THE WEEK
The championship season for all age group swimmers is here (B/C States & Tarheel States). This is what many of you have been working for all season. Please be sure to come to practice to get ready for these meets. Practices will be geared depending on which swim meet you attend. As always starts, turns, and finishes are always a focus during this point in the season. Many times these things determine the outcome of your races. Our team had a great qualifier meet because of the way we performed on starts, turns, and finishes. Please continue to attend practice and listen to the coaches.

See you all at practice

Coach Brian
