Annual Awards Banquet, Friday May 10th by Marcia Dettloff 2002-04-03 20:48:00 Mark your calendars now for the RSA Awards Banquet to be held Friday, May 10th from 6-9 PM at the Herb Young Community Center (formerly known as the Cary Community Center) at 404 North Academy Street in Cary. Dan Flack, our new head coach, will be our speaker. This will be a great opportunity for everyone to get acquainted with Coach Dan. Awards will be presented to every swimmer. Chik-Fil-A will be catering the dinner. Tickets are $6 per person and must be purchased in advance. Flyers will be put in the swimmers' folders with all the information and an order form. Tickets will be for sale during the Swim-A-Thon this Fri from 6-8 PM and Sat AM from 10-12. Tickets will be collected at the door so make sure you bring your tickets. Eight strong adults are needed to help set-up beginning at 5 p.m. and clean up till done. Volunteering for both set-up and clean up will count as one session on the volunteer board. A sign up sheet will be posted in the lobby at Candler. We will be having a Power Point presentation slide show with team photos. If you have any special team photos, please share them with us. The photos are always the highlight of the banquet. If you have digital photos you can email them to Marcia Dettloff at mrdod@bellsouth.net in jpeg format.
