RSA Rules the Pool at Cary City Invitational
RSA swimmers really racked up the points
for their summer teams at the 20th annual
Cary City Invitational hosted by the Cary
Swim Club on July 14, 2001. Seven of the
twelve 1st place age group high point awards
and 20 of the 36 top 3 scorers in each age
group went to an RSA swimmer. Brendon Smith,
Clinton Miller, Bryan O'Connor and Stephanie
Glover were undefeated in their age groups.
RSA girls Kassia Shishkoff, Brittany Curran
and Michelle Dettloff swept the 11-12 awards
while Holly Dettloff, Kimmy Davis and Megan
Ring took home the honors for the 13-14 girls.
Bryan O'Connor set the meet record in the
11-12 Boys Buttefly. Stephanie Glover set
records in all three of her 13-14 Girls events:
free, back and fly. Scott Dettloff set a
new standard on the 15-18 Boys 50 Free on
his way to winning the 15-18 Boys High Point.
Sean Rudio took home first place in the the
6Un boys Breaststroke and Andrew Buergler
won the 15-18 boys breaststroke .
Other top three high point winners
