RSA Travel Meet: MSA Invite Travel Meet for 9 to 12 Year Olds: 4/26/24-4/28/24
Dear RSA Families:
Registration is open for the upcoming MSA Invite Travel Meet in Charlotte.
All athletes in the Barracuda, Bluegill, Bowfin, Dolphin, Jack 2, Mackerel, Mako, Sunfish and Wahoo practice groups who will be nine to twelve years old as of April 27th are eligible to attend. Athletes will leave from Sonner on Friday, April 26th, and return to Sonner on Sunday, April 28th.
Coaches and USA Swimming-credentialled chaperones will accompany the athletes on charter buses. Athletes will room together at the hotel; chaperones and coaches will be in separate rooms on the same floors. The chaperones will facilitate the transitions from the hotel to the pool, coordinate meals, help the coaching staff ensure the safety of the athletes and assist the coaches and athletes with other miscellaneous issues that occur.
The anticipated cost of the trip is $450.00 per athlete. This cost includes:
- all meals (dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday)
- Saturday Lunch: Jimmy Johns
- Sunday Lunch: Panera Bread
- snacks and beverages
- accommodations
- travel by motor coach
An initial payment of $250.00 is due at the time of registration checkout. Account credits may be applied; account balances, if any, will be charged at checkout.
If the final cost of the travel trip differs from the estimate due to a difference in the number of athletes attending the trip, food and/or hotel costs, the per athlete balance will be adjusted accordingly. The balance will be charged to accounts in May. Note registration for the travel trip is not refundable.
