RSA's Gamecocks Travel Trip Registration Is Open For All Athletes Thirteen Years Old Or Older As Of 11/14/25: Register Now!
Dear RSA Families:
We are excited to release registration for our new fall travel meet for the older athletes, the Gamecocks November Invitational Meet. The meet will take place November 14th through November 16th at the University of South Carolina’s Aquatic Center in Columbia, South Carolina. All athletes who are thirteen years old or older as of November 14th are invited to attend.
Travel meets provide a unique opportunity for team bonding and, quite often, the first experience for athletes to attend a meet without their parents. USA Swimming-credentialled chaperones attend the meet with the coaches and athletes to facilitate the transitions from the hotel to the pool, to coordinate meals, to help the coaching staff ensure the safety of the athletes, and to assist the coaches and athletes with miscellaneous issues that occur. Note athletes and chaperones do not share rooms. Athletes share rooms; there may be as many as four athletes in a two-queen beds room. Chaperone and coach rooms are interspersed with the athlete rooms for supervision.
The anticipated trip cost is $390.00 per athlete. This cost includes:
- all meals (dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday)
- snacks and beverages (Food preference signups for lunches will be sent via separate email.)
- accommodations
- travel by motor coach
An initial payment of $275.00 is due at registration for the travel trip. If the final cost of the travel trip differs from the estimate due to a difference in the number of athletes attending the trip, food and hotel costs, and/or fundraisers, the balance due will be adjusted accordingly. The balance will be charged on the December invoice.
Note this registration is for the travel trip expenses only; an additional meet signup will be posted and meet fees will be invoiced on the December invoice. The $275.00 deposit for the cost of the trip will be charged when registration is completed. Account credits may be applied; account balances, if any, will be charged at checkout. Once you commit to the trip, you will be expected to pay the total of $390.00. Registration fees are not refundable.
